Founded in 1995, the British International School of Phnom Penh is the first registered Centre, in Cambodia, for the Cambridge International Education (CIE) which are conducted in tens of thousands registered schools every year worldwide.
Our qualified and dedicated teachers will prepare your children from age 5 to 18 years with a broad, rigorous and well structured programme of study, assessed by the British SATs (Scholastic Aptitude Tests) and Checkpoint exams at all Key Stages.
We prepare eligible candidates for internationally recognised Secondary School Exams such as IGCSE (O’ Level) and A Levels, leading to admission to prestigious Universities in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada and elsewhere around the world..
Our Montessori Kindergarten was founded in 1994 offering Full day or Half day sessions to children between the ages of 2-6 years old.
The programme is based on the Montessori Philosophy and Methods and our spacious classes are equipped with the original Teaching Aids developed by Dr Maria Montessori.
The teaching tools were designed to be used in a self-directed way by children, allowing them to learn through tactile exploration and discovery, under the guidance of Montessori directresses.
The weekly activities are well diversified to promote the confidence and self-reliance in the young child.
